Christian Clark is percussionist/educator/stuff do-er currently living in Austin, Texas. Her diverse range of skills and interests, including writing, design, and production, give her a unique perspective on the arts.
She is one of the founding members of the Good House Collective, an Austin-based chamber ensemble focused on creating innovative, thoughtful, and emotional musical experiences for all types of audiences. Most recently, the group performed as the pit orchestra for XOR, a chamber opera written by Christian and Jessy Eubanks that was performed as part of the 2019 Cohen New Works Festival.
A member of the 2015 PAS IPEC winning percussion ensemble at the University of Texas, she performed with the group at PASIC 2016. She has played as a member of the UT Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and New Music Ensemble as well as with the Kraken Quartet, So Percussion, and Sandbox Percussion.
Christian recently graduated from the University of Texas where she studied under Dr. Thomas Burritt and Professor Tony Edwards. She hopes to continue creating unique chamber music and opera as she goes out into the professional world.
